30 Days of Practical Digital Marketing

Written to be done, not just read. Every day pairs one core skill with a real, sourced video and article, then one concrete task you actually complete.

Pick a running case-study brand on Day 2 and carry it through the whole month. By Day 30, it's a finished portfolio piece.

How this challenge works

Each day follows the same structure, so it's always clear what to do:

  • Objective: the one skill this day is building.
  • Key Concepts: the ideas to understand before doing anything.
  • Watch: a current YouTube video or channel, drawing on the creators you follow where genuinely relevant, and respected specialists elsewhere.
  • Read / Study: a free article or course to go deeper.
  • Today's Challenge: the hands-on task(s) for the day.
  • Deliverable: the specific thing produced and saved to the portfolio. Check it off as you finish. Your progress is saved on this device.

Structure

  • Days 1–3: Orientation. What digital marketing is, who you're marketing to, and the free toolkit for the month.
  • Days 4–23: The 20 core disciplines, one per day, strategy through career-building.
  • Days 24–30: Capstone week. Plan, produce, launch, measure, optimize, present, and package one real campaign using everything before it.

A note on sources

Every link here was checked against the live web as of September 2026. If a specific video ever goes stale, the creator's channel link is included so you can find their latest equivalent in seconds.

Creators you follow (Colin and Samir, Kallaway, Mike and Matty, dmscales, Paddy Galloway, Ali Abdaal, Dan Martell, and Justin Sung) are placed on the days their content is the strongest fit. MrBeast, Tuan Le, Dr Sprawn, and Apilynne Alter aren't yet linked: MrBeast's content sits outside a specific lesson here, and the other three didn't return a clearly identifiable channel in research. Send exact links and they can be added.
